Hossein Fayaz - From 1972 to 2005, he ran his own business in Pesaro and the Province of Rimini (Italy) under the name H&W FAYAZ, in the field of oriental rugs (www.fayaz.it) and later in the field of publishing (www.hosseinfayaz.com).
In 2008, he published in Morciano di Romagna (Rimini - Italy) "Il manuale pratico per l'acquisto e la manutenzione dei tappeti orientali" by Hossein Fayaz "Italian Edition"
A useful, practical and accessible guide for those who want to understand or purchase an oriental rug; also helpful for anyone who already owns such a rug, or dealers in oriental rugs. The fruit of the author's thirty-nine years' experience and study in this field. He is currently writing a comprehensive glossary on oriental rugs. .

The well-known importer and restorer of Persian and oriental rugs, Hossein Fayaz Torshizi, already an appraiser in Pesaro, is now also registered in Rimini. The Commission for the Roll of Appraisers and Technical Consultants at the Court of Rimini admitted Hossein Fayaz Torshizi to the Register of Technical Consultants and Appraisers of National and International Rugs and Tapestries of the Court of Rimini with ruling N. 2 of July 10th last. For the moment he is the only appraiser of rugs in the provinces of Rimini and Pesaro Urbino, and probably in the regions of Emilia Romagna and Marche.
For more than thirty years, Mr Fayaz has imported and sold oriental rugs in the provinces of Rimini and Pesaro Urbino and now operates only from his shop in Via Roma 51, Morciano di Romagna. Thanks to his website www.fayaz.it he provides information on the cultural, aspects, the care and the sale of Persian rugs. The website opened in the year 2000 and is appreciated throughout Italy.
The figure of a competent and impartial appraiser in such a fascinating and complex sector, where buyers and admirers of oriental rugs find it difficult to distinguish between legend and reality, is of the utmost importance.
